Few words and lots of photos today of a sweet evening picnic ~ Daddy had to work and is not a big fan of breakfast for dinner. So, when Daddy works we usually have pancakes - it has become sort of a fun tradition for those of us at home.
Rachel lit up at the idea of a quilt on the driveway and I let her set it all up - she gathered the blooms and I provided the items for her to set out. It was lovely! We enjoyed dinner and reading a stack of library books!
I love making ordinary lovely. Rachel was my help and everything we came up with was all done while the food was cooking - it did take extra time, yes. But was time well spent in making a beautiful memory together and spending some sweet and quality time together.
